Job Summary

• Protect Company Assets: Safeguard physical assets, information, and property from theft, damage, or unauthorized access. • Enforce Policies and Procedures: Ensure that all security protocols, company rules, and regulations are followed consistently to maintain order and prevent breaches. • Monitor and Prevent Threats: Use surveillance systems, patrol the premises, and observe for any suspicious activities or potential threats to security. • Provide Customer Service: Assist visitors and employees while maintaining security standards, ensuring a balance between protection and helpfulness.

Job Details

Patrolling the Premises:

  • Regularly patrol assigned areas to ensure the security and safety of the premises.
  • Monitor for any unusual activity or potential threats, including trespassing or vandalism.
  • monitoring operations, asset movement control.

Access Control:

  • Ensure only authorized personnel enter the premises by verifying identification, passes, or clearance.
  • Monitor and control access to buildings, gates, and restricted areas.

Monitoring Surveillance Systems:

  • Continuously monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment for any unusual or suspicious activity.
  • Respond promptly to any alarms or signals.

Incident Response:

  • Respond to emergencies such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches.
  • Take appropriate action based on protocols, including contacting law enforcement or emergency services.
  • Repossessions in asset recovery.
  • Incident Registration and investigation like theft in the depot.

 

Reporting:

  • Document all incidents, accidents, or security-related events, ensuring detailed and accurate reports.
  • Submit daily logs and activity reports to supervisors or management.

Enforce Security Policies and Protocols:

  • Oversee and ensure adherence to all security policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Lead the implementation of company-wide security measures and ensure compliance with relevant laws and industry standards.
  • Incharge of security guards and to overseer, the MTSR movement to the market daily.

Assisting with Safety:

  • Monitor and ensure fire exits are accessible, and emergency equipment is functioning.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe working environment by identifying and reporting hazards.

Customer Service:

  • Provide assistance to visitors, employees, or contractors as needed.
  • Offer directions or answer questions while maintaining professionalism.

Collaboration with Law Enforcement:

  • Work with local law enforcement when necessary, especially in the event of a security breach or criminal activity.
  • Assist in providing statements and evidence for investigations, if applicable.

Handling Security Equipment:

  • Ensure security equipment such as gates, locks, or alarms are properly maintained and operational.
  • Conduct routine checks of security devices and report any malfunctions.

Preventative Measures:

  • Conduct security checks to identify vulnerabilities or weaknesses in security systems.
  • Implement security measures to prevent theft, property damage, or unauthorized access.
  • Execute any other duties as may be assigned by Management from time to time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor/Diploma in any business related field
  • Completion of a security training program
  • Clean Criminal Record.
